Delhi LG Approves 272 New Posts in Revenue Department After District Expansion

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has approved 272 additional posts in the Revenue Department following the expansion of revenue districts from 11 to 13 and subdivisions from 33 to 39. The new positions include district magistrates, additional district magistrates, sub-divisional magistrates, sub-registrars, tehsildars, and various administrative roles. This increase aims to strengthen field administration, reduce staff shortages, and improve service delivery in line with the administrative reorganisation and government directives.
