Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar reviewed the progress of Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) projects, instructing officials to expedite their implementation and ensure quality. He highlighted the government's commitment to employee welfare, noting 287 compassionate appointments in 18 months. The Minister also emphasized ensuring electricity supply to all households, promoting solar power in remote areas, and reducing consumer electricity bills, with a tariff reduction of 13 paise already achieved. Officials reported 60 power substations are slated for commissioning by March 2026.
