Specialist doctors can quote their desired salary, with the government selecting the lowest bid within a set limit, potentially offering up to three times the regular pay. This initiative targets high-demand specialties and remote districts, prioritizing colleges at risk of National Medical Commission action. The scheme will initially be implemented in 10 selected medical colleges.
