A new political party, the Bangladesh Minority Janta Party (BMJP), has been formed to unite Hindu and other minority votes for upcoming elections. The BMJP plans to contest 91 seats, aiming for 40-45 victories, and is seeking alliances with parties like BNP or Jamaat-e-Islami to ensure minority safety during voting. The party president stated that minorities need to feel safe to participate and that the Awami League is not an option for them.
