
The Assam government will transfer Rs 2.9 crore in state GST collected from the late singer Zubeen Garg's record-breaking film 'Roi Roi Binale' to the Kalaguru Foundation. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also announced plans to appoint a Special Public Prosecutor by January 12 and request a fast-track court for Garg's death case. Garg died under mysterious circumstances in Singapore in September, and the trial of seven accused individuals began recently.
