Uttarakhand minister Subodh Uniyal stated the government is open to any investigation into the Ankita Bhandari murder case if credible evidence is presented. This follows Congress's demand for a CBI probe, spurred by a video alleging VIP involvement. Uniyal defended the existing SIT investigation, asserting that courts found no VIP involvement and no attempts were made to protect anyone. He suggested the new allegations might be a political conspiracy to aid the convicts, urging accusers to present evidence for their safety.
