Teaching, Non-Teaching, and Officers Associations at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) have formed a joint platform to address common issues. Presidents of the three associations agreed to a coordination committee to jointly pursue pending dues, pay commission recommendations, and dearness allowance. They cited a financial crunch, partly due to a withheld Rs 33 crore grant from the state government, as exacerbating employee concerns. The associations threatened joint agitation if demands are not met.
