This strategic shift, supported by policy reforms and industry engagement, aims to build a resilient domestic supply chain for sustained combat endurance and long-term warfighting capability. Orders worth approximately Rs 26,000 crore have been placed with indigenous manufacturers in the past three years, fostering vendor diversification and supply resilience.
