
The Indian Army held a Commander's Parade on January 13 in Jaipur as a precursor to the main Army Day Parade on January 15, marking the first time the event is outside a cantonment area. The parade featured heavy armour like T-90 Bhishma and Arjun tanks, advanced weaponry including BrahMos missiles and the newly raised Bhairav Battalion. Cultural performances and a Nepal Army band also participated. Special traffic arrangements were made due to concurrent events in the city.
