The Congress party has announced its four candidates for the upcoming Karnataka Legislative Council elections in November 2026. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge approved the nominations for Mohan Limbikai (West Graduates'), Shashi Hulikuntemutt (South East Graduates'), Sharanappa Mattur (North East Teachers'), and Puttanna (Bengaluru Teachers'). Three of these four seats are currently held by the BJP, with the Bengaluru Teachers' seat currently held by a Congress leader.
