The Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters has introduced a new rule limiting postings in the Police Welfare Branch to a maximum of five years throughout an officer's service. This decision follows the discovery of financial irregularities and scams in the branch last year. Personnel will now serve a maximum of three years per posting, with those exceeding this limit being replaced. The Welfare Branch also plans to employ only unemployed family members dependent on police families for roles in petrol pumps, canteens, and other police-run facilities.
