Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended greetings on DRDO Day, praising scientists and personnel for their commitment and scientific excellence. He highlighted that developing indigenous technologies reinforces India's strategic autonomy and boosts the confidence of armed forces. Singh wished the DRDO family continued service and meaningful breakthroughs. DRDO, established in 1958, has grown significantly from its initial 10 laboratories to become a multi-disciplinary organization vital for national defence preparedness and the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative.
