
India and Israel have agreed to link their Unified Payments Interface (UPI) systems, enabling seamless cross-border digital payments to facilitate trade, tourism, and business exchanges. This development was announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Israel, alongside agreements on cooperation in critical and emerging technologies, civil nuclear energy, space, agriculture, and defense. Both countries are also advancing negotiations for a free trade agreement to deepen economic ties and enhance bilateral collaboration across multiple sectors.
