
The Delhi government has received 60 proposals from MLAs for constructing foot overbridges (FOBs) across the city to enhance pedestrian safety and reduce traffic congestion. These suggestions, collected after a request from PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, have been forwarded to chief engineers for evaluation. The Public Works Department plans joint inspections with traffic police before seeking approval from the subway committee, aiming to streamline traffic and minimize disruption through coordinated infrastructure development.
