Protests in Goa have entered their fourth day, with hundreds demanding the repeal of Section 39A of the Town and Country Planning Act, which allows conversion of non-settlement zones into settlement zones for construction. Led by Revolutionary Goans Party MLA Viresh Borkar, who is on an indefinite hunger strike and was hospitalized due to health concerns, protesters marched to Minister Vishwajit Rane's residence before returning to Azad Maidan. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant acknowledged the right to protest but criticized the march to the minister's home, urging dialogue through proper channels.
