Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has assured the opening of a dedicated Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) in Dharwad following a request from Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. Joshi highlighted a significant reduction in Aadhaar service infrastructure in his constituency, with only one ASK in Hubballi having four ECMP kits, down from two centers with 24 kits. This has caused hardship for residents, particularly students and senior citizens, who must travel long distances for services like biometric updates.
