
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is undertaking multiple visits to key states in late January and early February. He will review election preparations and hold strategy meetings in Assam and West Bengal, including arriving in Dibrugarh on January 29 and chairing core group discussions in Guwahati. In Assam, Shah will also lay the foundation for a second Legislative Assembly complex and inaugurate flood mitigation projects. Separately, he will visit Uttarakhand to participate in cultural and healthcare events, including inaugurating a critical care hospital and attending centenary celebrations of the Gita Press magazine.
