
India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper train, set to launch soon on the Guwahati-Kolkata route, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the train, featuring 16 coaches with 3AC, 2AC, and 1AC options, offers enhanced comfort and safety. Fares are positioned between air travel and conventional trains, with 3AC priced around Rs 2,300. The train also boasts regional cuisine options and advanced features like the Kavach safety system.
