
During the Block Samiti Chairperson elections in Moga, Punjab, Congress member Amanjeet Sangha was allegedly abducted at gunpoint by unidentified assailants, with Congress accusing the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of orchestrating the incident to influence the election. Congress leaders protested outside the police station, alleging police inaction and detention of protesters. Police have registered a case and are investigating. Congress also claimed another member was detained the previous night to prevent voting, while AAP has not publicly responded.
