Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced efforts to revive the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), which has accumulated losses of ₹97,000 crore. She stated the government aims to strengthen public transport by increasing the e-bus fleet to 11,000 in the next two years, up from the current 5,500. Gupta attributed DTC's crisis to the previous government's decision to hand over operations to DIMTS, asserting her administration is rectifying issues and reclaiming operational control.
