Union Minister Highlights Integration of Skilling with Education at IndiaSkills Northeast Event

Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary highlighted the Central government's focus on developing the North East during the inauguration of the IndiaSkills Regional Competition 2025-26. The event features youth from all eight North Eastern states competing across 26 skills. Chaudhary emphasized integrating skilling with formal education per the National Education Policy 2020 to enhance employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning opportunities, aiming to prepare youth for a changing economy. Officials from Gauhati University and Assam's government also attended.
