TMC leaders criticized the Election Commission of India (ECI), calling it a 'WhatsApp Commission' and demanding accountability for alleged irregularities and the removal of eligible voters. They claim the ECI is curtailing the powers of Electoral Registration Officers and acting at the behest of the BJP, while officials stated the complaints would be forwarded to the ECI.
