India to Celebrate 77th Republic Day with Parade and EU Leaders as Guests

India will celebrate its 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, marking 77 years since the Constitution came into effect in 1950. The event includes the traditional parade at Kartavya Path, showcasing military formations and cultural tableaux, with the theme focusing on 'Vande Mataram' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat.' European Union leaders Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa will attend as chief guests. The Beating Retreat ceremony will conclude the celebrations on January 29 at Vijay Chowk.
