Kerala Legislative Assembly Budget Session Scheduled from January 20 to March 26

The Kerala Legislative Assembly's budget session will run from January 20 to March 26, 2026, marking the 16th session of the 15th Assembly. The House will meet for 32 days, including three days for discussing the Governor's policy statement. The state budget for 2026-27 will be presented on January 29, with general discussions from February 2 to 4. Subject committees will review fund requests during a recess from February 6 to 22, followed by detailed discussions and passage from February 24 to March 19. So far, the Assembly has met 182 days and passed 158 bills, with 14 pending governor approval.
