In Uttar Pradesh's Raniganj tehsil, an FIR has been filed against 26 individuals, including a former BJP MLA and a former block head, for alleged assault, criminal intimidation, and vandalism. The case stems from an incident where the accused reportedly intercepted a vehicle, abused and threatened the occupants, and assaulted them. The complainant claims a pistol was used to break a car window, and some individuals were dragged out and beaten. An investigation is currently underway.
