Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has urged the Telangana government to release a comprehensive White Paper on the state's financial condition before the March 16 budget session. He highlighted Telangana's rising per capita debt and reliance on borrowings, despite receiving nearly Rs 12 lakh crore from the Centre over 12 years, including over Rs 10,000 crore in interest-free loans under the SASCI scheme. Kishan Reddy noted the funds supported infrastructure projects but expressed concern over the state's financial stress and dependency on loans.
