Odisha CM Disburses Over Rs 5,100 Crore to Women Under Subhadra Yojana

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi disbursed over Rs 5,100 crore to 1.02 crore women beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana, marking the scheme's fourth instalment. Launched in September 2024, the program provides Rs 50,000 over five years to women aged 21 to 60 to promote financial independence. The government has transferred more than Rs 15,000 crore so far, aiming to empower women socially and economically and boost the state's economy. Officials highlighted the scheme's role in Odisha's development goals for 2036.
