The Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Kaundinya, a ship built using ancient 5th-century stitched-ship techniques without modern propulsion, has embarked on its maiden voyage from Porbandar, India, to Muscat, Oman. This 15-day journey retraces historic maritime trade routes, symbolizing India's rich maritime heritage and ancient seafaring capabilities.
