Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved a 20 percent reservation for ex-Agniveers in the recruitment of male constables in the Delhi Police. The amendment to Rule 9 of the Delhi Police (Appointment Recruitment) Rules, 1980, also grants ex-Agniveers exemption from the physical efficiency test and a three-year relaxation in the upper age limit, with an additional two years for the first batch.
