The Global Naga Forum (GNF) has condemned incidents of harassment and attacks against Christians during Christmas celebrations across India, calling them violations of constitutional rights. The GNF stated that such acts, reportedly carried out by extremist elements, are a direct assault on democratic values and religious freedom guaranteed by Article 25. This condemnation follows similar concerns raised by the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and the Nagaland unit of the National People's Party (NPP), who also urged authorities to act decisively.
