Golden Jubilee SJFI Convention Begins in Delhi with Focus on Grassroots and Governance

The golden jubilee edition of the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) national convention commenced in New Delhi, hosted by the Delhi Sports Journalists Association after 23 years. Union Minister Raksha Khadse highlighted priorities such as grassroots sports development, promotion of traditional and Olympic sports, and sports tourism. Sports Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao announced upcoming governance reforms including the establishment of the National Sports Board and Tribunal. The event featured the unveiling of trophies and emphasized the role of sports journalists in advancing India's sporting culture.
