
Amid halted commercial flights in parts of the Middle East due to escalating conflict, multiple European governments are organizing repatriation efforts for stranded citizens. The European Commission is coordinating flights under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, with ten member states activating the system and over 1,000 citizens already returned. Countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and the UK are arranging evacuation flights and land routes via neighboring countries like Oman, Jordan, and Egypt to facilitate safe departures.
