India's Labour Ministry has proposed a 90-day annual work threshold for gig and platform workers to be eligible for social security benefits under the new draft rules for the Social Security Code 2020. These draft rules, published on December 31, are now open for stakeholder feedback. The Social Security Code 2020 is one of four labor codes that were previously notified.
