Punjab BJP leaders have accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of corruption in the MGNREGA scheme, alleging that AAP leaders and MLAs are involved. The BJP claims the state government has failed to provide the statutory 100 days of employment to lakhs of poor people over the past four years, despite central government funding. They also questioned the lack of mandatory social audits and inaction on over 10,600 detected corruption cases, accusing the AAP of robbing the poor of their livelihood.
