Security has been heightened along parts of Tripura's border with Bangladesh due to intelligence reports of movement by cadres from two Bangladeshi armed groups, PCJSS and UPDF. Officials cited concerns about potential infiltration by militants, Rohingyas, and Bangladesh nationals aiming to commit crimes or disrupt public order. Consequently, a night curfew has been imposed in specific border areas of Gomati district until February 28, restricting movement and weapons possession for civilians.
