
In Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district, 56 of 77 households in Bomdo village signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) supporting the pre-feasibility report (PFR) survey for the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP). The MoU was signed by Deputy Commissioner Talo Jerang and community representative Binbo Lonchung. Additionally, in Siang district's Parong village, support increased to 74 households for the PFR activities. Officials highlighted the project's potential benefits for energy security and regional development.
