This action follows a directive from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis against dynastic politics, aiming to prevent relatives of elected officials from contesting. The move addresses internal party discontent over such practices, with over 100 instances of relatives seeking candidatures across Maharashtra. Both MLAs stated their respect for the party's decision.
