Following the Nashik Municipal Corporation elections, tensions escalated between allied parties. Shiv Sena corporator Pooja Navale and associates face police cases for allegedly attempting arson at the house of defeated BJP candidate Pushpa Tajanpure. Separately, newly elected BJP corporator Sharad More was attacked outside his home by individuals linked to the defeated Shiv Sena faction, who reportedly threatened him with a pistol, demanded ransom, and injured More and his wife. Police have registered cases and detained several suspects in both incidents.
