Andhra Pradesh Government Highlights Minority Welfare Initiatives and Support

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed the state government's commitment to the social, economic, and political empowerment of Muslims and other minorities during a Ramadan Iftar event. Since the NDA coalition took office 21 months ago, initiatives like the NTR Bharosa pension scheme, Thalliki Vandanam educational support, post-matric scholarships, and the Deepam 2 gas subsidy have benefited thousands. The government has increased minority welfare allocations, declared Urdu the second official language, and is working to protect Waqf properties and facilitate Haj pilgrimage arrangements.
