
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against five individuals, including a woman, for allegedly using social media to propagate the banned terror group Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent's (AQIS) ideologies in Gujarat. The accused, charged under the UAPA, Arms Act, and BNS Act, are said to have posted provocative content calling for armed revolt and establishment of a Caliphate based on Sharia law. The NIA seized weapons and digital evidence, tracing incriminating posts that strengthened the case.
