Andhra Pradesh Approves Disaster Recovery Centre in Tirupati for State Data Centre

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the establishment of a Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre at the IIDT Campus in Tirupati to support the Andhra Pradesh State Data Centre (APSDC), which hosts key e-governance applications. The DR Centre will be developed under the Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) model with Rs 195 crore funding from the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment. This initiative follows directives to migrate applications from private hosting to APSDC and aims to provide geographically distant backup for critical state data.
