Ukraine and Russia Complete Two-Day Prisoner Exchange Mediated by US and UAE

Ukraine and Russia conducted a prisoner exchange over two days, returning a total of 1,000 individuals, including 600 soldiers and four civilians. On the second day, 300 Ukrainian servicemen and two civilians were repatriated, with many having been held captive for over a year. The exchanges followed trilateral talks involving the United States and the United Arab Emirates, who acted as mediators.
