Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the 'Speaker of the Knesset Medal,' the highest honour of the Israeli Parliament, recognizing his exceptional contribution to strengthening strategic relations between India and Israel. He is the first leader to receive this medal. The award highlights Modi's personal leadership in expanding bilateral cooperation in defence, technology, and innovation. Modi is among few global leaders honoured by both Israel and Palestine, having received the Grand Collar of the State of Palestine in 2018, reflecting India's balanced engagement in the region.
