Uttarakhand BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP, Mahendra Bhatt, has approached the police alleging he received death threats over the phone. Bhatt suspects the threats are a political ploy to damage his image and has urged authorities to identify and act against the caller. The BJP state media in-charge stated that such threats will not deter party leaders from their work and public service.
