
The Delhi Assembly plans to address the persistent issue of monkeys entering its premises by hiring personnel to mimic langur sounds and bring a langur. This humane approach aims to scare away monkeys, which have caused disruptions and safety risks, including breaking equipment. Previous attempts with langur cutouts were unsuccessful. A tender has been floated to deploy trained handlers for eight-hour shifts, with performance monitoring and insurance coverage.
