The Indore Municipal Corporation has decided to rename a stretch of the Agra-Bombay Road (AB Road) within city limits as 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Marg'. The decision was made unanimously during a Mayor-in-Council meeting to commemorate the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The corporation also plans to send a proposal to the Central government to rename the entire Agra-Mumbai National Highway in his honor.
