Lok Sabha Speaker Reconstitutes Privileges Committee, Ravi Shankar Prasad Named Chair

The committee examines alleged breaches of parliamentary privilege and recommends actions. Congress MP Manickam Tagore, suspended for unruly behaviour, has stated he cannot attend meetings. The committee’s formation comes amid recent tensions over privilege notices in Parliament.
