Ravi Shankar Prasad Appointed Chair of Reconstituted Lok Sabha Privileges Committee

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has reconstituted the House privileges committee for the 18th Lok Sabha, appointing BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad as chairperson. The 15-member panel includes MPs from various parties such as Congress, DMK, TMC, Shiv Sena, and Samajwadi Party. The committee examines breaches of parliamentary privilege referred by the House or Speaker. Manickam Tagore of Congress, suspended for unruly behavior, stated he cannot attend committee meetings during his suspension.
