Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for 'decolonisation' by 2035, an awareness campaign is being launched by academics and ministers through the Centre for the Study of Democracy and Culture. The initiative includes 100 lectures and brainstorming sessions nationwide, alongside the publication of 21 monographs exploring various aspects of decolonisation, such as debates in the Constituent Assembly and intellectual views from the mid-20th century. The campaign aims to promote academic discussion without government funding.
