Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan pledged support for nine-year-old Vinodini, who requires a prosthetic arm after her right hand was amputated. Vinodini's parents allege medical negligence by doctors at the Government District Hospital, Palakkad, where she was initially treated for a fracture. The hospital authorities have denied these allegations. Satheesan assured Vinodini's parents of necessary arrangements, including financial aid, to secure a prosthetic arm so she can return to school.
